Deyala Altarawneh

Deyala is an architect, urban planner and human geographer with a newly found passion for innovation and entrepreneurship. She is currently an Assistant Professor at the Architecture Department and the Assistant Director for the Innovation and Entrepreneurship centre at the University of Jordan. Deyala's research focusses on brownfield sites adaptive reuse, temporary urbanism and achieving spatial justice, in her work, she aims to constantly highlight contemporary urban issues more specifically in Middle Eastern contexts and bids to learn from international best practices.
